Oyster shell provides additional calcium to increase egg shell strength for layers. Oyster shell is not a substitute for grit. Calcium is absorbed by chickens to build strong egg shells. While grit stays in the gizzard to further aid in digestion.

Feeding Directions: Off oyster shell at approximately 16-18 weeks. Oyster Shell provides supplemental calcium for optimum egg shell and bone strength. Feed free choice in a dish, or on the ground in their feeding area.

Oyster Shell Blend features a variation of shell sizes from 1/8 inch to 3/8 inch, blended for a uniform shell mix. Promotes optimum dietary calcium utilization for enhancing eggshell quality in layers.
